National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) is held every October and is a collaborative effort between the government and organizations to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and to ensure that everyone has the resources they need to be safer and more secure online. During the entire month of October, it is the goal of CHCAMS to emphasize personal accountability and stress the importance of taking proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity in the workplace. As we continue throughout the month, CHCAMS will wrap up with a Cybersecurity face-to-face Training and Tabletop Exercise.

CHCAMS will host its 4-hour Facility-Based Emergency Preparedness (EP) Training & Tabletop Exercise (TTX), on Thursday, October 31, 2019, 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. With our focus centered around Cybersecurity, we are hoping that you will make plans to attend this training and exercise. As internet-enabled crimes and cyber intrusions are becoming increasingly sophisticated and preventing them requires every user of a connected device to be aware, and on guard, it is becoming increasingly imperative that your facility is prepared. This training would be a great chance to gather your team and use this opportunity to look over your plans, policies, and procedures you currently have in place.
